Translations of the Bible are not very accurate and interfere with our ability to understand His purpose for all mankind.
The King James Bible translation of the Greek 2 Corinthians 6:2 is a sad example of the damage that can be done. That verse is as follows: “For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee; behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
This verse is a quote of apostle Paul from Isaiah 49:8. Please compare the above quote with the actual verse Paul referred to: “Thus saith the LORD, [Yahweh in Hebrew which is another example of problematic translations] in an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritage;”
Young’s literal translation of 2 Corinthians 6:2 is as follows: (“For he saith, in an acceptable time I did hear thee, and in a day of salvation I did help thee, lo, now [is] a well accepted time; lo, now, a day of salvation).”
The Word of Yahweh bible translates this New Testament verse as follows: “ (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)”
The Diaglott offers this translation: “ (For he says, ‘ In a season acceptable, I listened to thee, and in a day of salvation I assisted thee.’ Behold! Now is a well accepted season; Behold! Now is a day of salvation;)”
You will note in the above verses I bolded the articles that I wanted to emphasize. The article “a” preceded the word salvation in Isaiah 49: 8. However, in some translations of Paul’s quote, the article used was a “the” instead of the correct article “a”.
The King James Version and the Word of Yahweh quoted above follow the translations you will find in the Geneva Bible, the 1611 King James Version and the Catholic Douey-Rheims Bible. Young’s Literal Translation, the Diaglott, the Rotherham Emphasized Bible and the Concordant Literal Version correctly translate Paul’s quotation from the Hebrew Isaiah 49:8 as, “a” day of salvation.
The incorrect choice of the article “the” over the article “a” makes a substantial difference in the content of this verse. Religionists, who say this age or time period is the only one, promote the untruthful use of “the”. Those who understand what the book of Revelation says understand that there are two resurrections to judgment, not just one.
Messiah died on April 25, 31CE, a Wednesday. He was resurrected before sundown on the weekly Sabbath, April 28. Messiah then ascended to the Father the next day, April 29, the first day of the week. With Messiah’s resurrection he became “the firstfruit of them that slept.” (1 Corinthians 15:20) In verse 23 of that same chapter we are told,“every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah’s at His coming.”
These firstfruits that are resurrected at the coming of Messiah have received the free gift of the Spirit of the Father, which provided the implanting of the Son’s Spirit as described in Acts 2. The Spirit of the Father initiates the forming of the Spirit of Messiah. (Galatians 4: 19) It is the Spirit of Messiah that allows one to be in the better resurrection when Messiah returns. (Romans 8: 9-10)
The “a” day of salvation is referring to the time period beginning with the Pentecost that followed Messiah’s resurrection and ends when he returns. This is the time period or age when the firstfruits are judged. The 144,000 firstfruits (Revelation 14: 1) are those who have been determined to successfully have the Spirit of Messiah formed within them. This success is referred to as overcoming.
This is why Peter tells us that, “judgment must begin at the house of Yahweh.”(1 Peter 4:17) The 144,000 firstfruits that are resurrected when Messiah returns have successfully been judged to be eligible for that resurrection. Their overcoming is verified by the name of the Father and Son on their foreheads, YahwehShua. (Revelation 14: 1)
We, the firstfruits of this age, are being judged NOW. This is why Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:2 that, “Now is a day of salvation.” This is the age or day of OUR judgment. Paul confirms this by telling us in 1 Corinthians 15:23 that: “every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah’s at his coming.”
But this is NOT THE ONLY resurrection of mankind. This is only “a” day of salvation, which leads to the resurrection of the firstfruits.
But wait, there is more! All the rest of mankind who are not in the better resurrection (except those who were called but not chosen) will have a resurrection to physical life after the thousand year reign of Messiah. John confirms this in Revelation 20:5: “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.”
Yes, all persons who were ever conceived will live again. They are resurrected during the last great day. That is truly “the day” of salvation for the rest of mankind.
Yahshua spoke about this day in John 7:37: “In the last day,[of judgment] that great day of the feast, Yahshua stood and cried, saying, ‘if any man thirst, let him come under me, and drink.’
This is the same period of time that the prophet Joel spoke about in Joel 2: 28:
“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; [remember, this is a physical resurrection] and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”
Every human being that was ever conceived, and not included in the better resurrection, will have this day of judgment. No human being is left behind. Remember, we are told in 1 John 1:7 that Messiah cleanseth us from ALL sin. He was the only human to die in sin. This is why only his birth name is blotted out. (Deuteronomy 29:20)
I was recently speaking to a young man who was inquiring about our website. He was very interested, but also quite concerned about his loved ones. What happens to them? He was concerned about hell and the possibility of their being tortured for eternity.
I was able to show him that the Scriptures do not teach eternal damnation and eternal torture. There is no hell! That is a lie promoted by religionists who teach lies. Who is their father? The answer can be found in John 8:44.
In the New Testament, the English word eternal is the incorrect word to use for the Greek words, aion or aionios. These eons or ages are actually short, time-limited periods, which arenotforever.
For example, consider Mark 3:29: “But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.” The Greek word translated as eternal is aionios. (Strong’s 166) The word, judgment, is a better translation from the Greek than the word damnation. (Strong’s 2920)
Remember, no translation is 100% accurate. You must approach each one carefully and study deeply into the words they use. Even the misuse of an article can cause someone to walk away from pursuing the path to becoming a firstfruit.
Matthew 20:16 states that: “many be called, but few chosen.” This refers to the current age of judgment that is only “a” day of judgment. The rest of mankind, those not called at this time, will have their day in the future.
Yahweh truly is loving and merciful. Satan, through religionists, has promoted a lie about him. The Father, through his Son, has reconciled all mankind. (Romans 5:10) Reconciliation is the free gift of life. This means that each person that was conceived will be raised from the dead.
The firstfruits, of course, are reconciled, but additionally they are saved. Salvation for the firstfruits is the inheritance they receive in the Kingdom. Many on the last great day will also receive an inheritance in the kingdom when the new heavens and earth are created.
Those in the last great day who reject their opportunity to have the Spirit of Messiah formed at that time will be cast into the lake of fire. The time they spend in the lake of fire is age abiding, not forever. They will eventually join all of firstfruits in the new earth, but will live outside the walls of New Jerusalem. (Revelation 22:15)
Through this website, those who are being called NOW to become firstfruits are being informed about a great future that could be theirs. This may be an opportunity for you. Only the Father does the calling. (John 6:44) We are here only to assist you.
The first step to becoming a firstfruit is baptism in the name of YahwehShua. Any other name is of no value. Notice the narrative about Apollos in the book of Acts, chapters 18 to 19. He was an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, but had only the baptism of repentance provided by John the Baptist. Even Apollos had to be baptized correctly in the name of YahwehShua before he could become a firstfruit and overcome into the better resurrection. (Hebrews 11:35)
Take your time, study, search the Scriptures and pray for truth to Yahweh. Matthew 7:7 teaches us to ask, seek, and knock. We must be diligent. This is the greatest opportunity of this age. Don’t overlook it. Contact us for assistance. You have no obligation to us, but you may have one to Father Yahweh.
