We Are Different

Many will lump our fellowship of faith together with the traditional Sacred Name Movement.  According to Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia, “The best known distinction of the Sacred Name Movement is its advocacy of the use of the reconstructed proper name of the God of Israel, and the use of the original Hebrew name of Jesus, often transcribed as Yahshua.”

We do call on the name of Yahweh.  According to Joel 2:32, “whosoever shall call on the name of Yahweh [KJV uses ”the LORD”] shall be delivered.

We also use the Hebrew name of the Messiah, Yahshua.  We do not proclaim Jesus, which is the 17th century version of the Latin Iesus.  Messiah was not called by this name when He walked the earth.

We acknowledge that when Messiah was born of Mary, He was given the name Yahshua.  This was His prophetic name as found in the book of Zechariah.

However, unlike the traditional Sacred Name Movement groups, you will find referenced in the Wikipedia article, we do not pray in the name of Yahshua or baptize in His name.

Our fellowship group, the Light of YahwehShua, prays in the name of YahwehShua and baptizes in His name as well.  This is a very significant and life-giving difference.

According to Deuteronomy 29:20:  “Yahweh will not spare him, but then the anger of Yahweh and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in the book shall lie upon his name from under heaven and Yahweh shall blot out his name from under heaven.”

Once again in Exodus 32:33:  “And Yahweh said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.”  (See also Exodus 32:32, Deuteronomy 9:14; 25:19.)

Who died in sin?  We are told in Galatians 1:4 that, “who gave himself for our sins”.  Messiah died in sin for us as indicated in 2 Corinthians 5:21, “For he hath made him (to be) sin for us.”  Messiah was the only man to die in sin.  The rest of mankind does not have their names blotted out because they do not die in sin.  Only one man, Messiah Yahshua, died in sin and therefore is qualified to have His name blotted out.

The Torah (the first five books of the old testament) in both Exodus and Deuteronomy declare that the penalty for dying in sin is to have your name blotted out.  However, the name of Yahshua is never blotted out in the Bible.  The reference about a name being blotted out for those who have sinned against Yahweh is found multiple times in the Torah.  Therefore it must be true.  If you don’t believe that the Torah is truthful, then disregard the rest of this article.  If you believe the Torah is the inspired word of Yahweh, then you know this is the truth.  If it is the truth, then you must recognize that because Messiah Yahshua died in sin, His name should be blotted out from the Scriptures as required by the Torah.

We are told in Hebrews 1:4:  “Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”  Who has the excellent name?  Psalm 148:13 tells us, “Let them praise the name of Yahweh: for his name alone is excellent’”

So, Messiah had His prophetic name, Yahshua, blotted out because He died in sin.  However, His name of inheritance (received after His death) became the excellent name of Yahweh.  Because He is Yahweh our Savior, His inherited name is YahwehShua.

The name, Yahshua, was defiled by the sin it absorbed on our behalf.  We no longer use it before Yahweh because we do not place something that is defiled before Him.  Remember, Yahshua died in sin, therefore His name is blotted out.

We are told to pray in the Messiah’s name (John 14:13-14.)  However, we cannot use the Messiah’s defiled name, the name of death, or the man of sin.  However, Acts 14:12 tells us, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

There is only “one name” for salvation.  It cannot be the defiled name of Yahshua.  However, the excellent name of Yahweh with the appellation Savior, is the name YahwehShua.

We are different than the traditional Sacred Name groups.  Please pray to Yahweh for truth and contact our elder for more information.

Remember, in Revelation 11:4, we are told “come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins.”  Many think this refers to only Catholics, Christians or other major religions.  It also includes Sacred Name groups that do not acknowledge the name of faith, YahwehShua.  You may not be as secure in your relationship with Yahweh as you think.  Pray for truth and follow your calling.

We follow the Scriptures.  We exercise our faith not our eyesight.  Join us as we praise the name of faith, YahwehShua.  Remember 2Corinthians 5:7: “For we walk by faith, NOT by sight.”

Paul Saw the Light! Will You?

When Paul was questioned by King Agrippa, he reported on the encounter with YahwehShua on the road to Damascus. Read this in Acts 26:12-20:

Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.   And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.  And I said, Who art thou, Master? And he said. I am YahwehShua whom thou persecutest.  But rise and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in which I will appear unto thee;  Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto Elohim, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.  Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:  But showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to Elohim, and do works meet for repentance.

Messiah Yahshua personally selected His twelve disciples before His death on the tree. However, we learn in Acts 26 that He personally selected Paul after His resurrection. By this time he had already appeared before the Father and had inherited the excellent name of YahwehShua.

Hebrews 1:4:  Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Paul said the being that spoke to him in this light identified Himself as YahwehShua. The King James Version says "Jesus” and others might say Yahshua, Yeshua, or even Yahushua. Which is it?

In other articles we have demonstrated that the Messiah who died on the tree in sin had His name blotted out.  Deuteronomy 29:20 declares that:  “Yahweh will not spare him, but then the anger of Yahweh and his jealousy shall smote against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and Yahweh shall blot out his name from under heaven.”

Therefore His human or prophetic name was no longer of any value. The Father had blotted it out of the book of life

Now in Acts 4:12 Peter tells us, “there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Well, if the Messiah’s human or prophetic name was blotted out, there must be another name.

In Hebrews 1:3-4 we are told:

Who (the son) being brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;  Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

We are told then that He received a better name by inheritance. To inherit there has to be a death. There was, His!

Hebrews 9:16-17 explains the necessity of death for an inheritance:  “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.  For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”

Let’s return to the road to Damascus. The conversation between Paul and YahwehShua was conducted in Hebrew in verse 14:  “How much more shall the blood of the Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to Elohim, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living Yahweh?”

Paul was a well-educated Pharisee who knew the language and the law. The conversation attracted his attention and he followed the guidance without hesitation.  He traveled and taught on behalf of YahwehShua. He did not respond to the command of a man but the resurrected Son of Yahweh.

Previously he had been arresting and imprisoning members of “the Way” or the “body of the Messiah”. After this singular encounter with the Son of Yahweh, in the light, he immediately changed the course of his life. This was sudden and dramatic.

Are you being called to make a similar sudden and dramatic about face in your life? You have encountered the website, Light of YahwehShua; now, what will you do? In the Greek New Testament, we are informed that the man, Yahshua was the light.

John 1:6-9:

There was a man sent from Yahweh whose name was John.  The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.  He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lightest every man that cometh into the world.

He was the true light! So, is there a false light?  Yes, his name is Lucifer or Satan or God. Satan is a liar who has appropriated the identity of Messiah as the true Light.  Satan is the original identity thief.

Strong words, yes! Search the Scriptures and you will learn how toxic Satan is. He is implicated in a great deception and could even deceive the elect if we are not careful.

You must break away from traditions and all false religious systems and move toward the True Light. This is not easy but it can be done.

Notice in Acts 22:16 that we are told that following his encounter with YahwehShua in the Light, Paul was baptized. Read both accounts in Acts 22 and 26. Each passage gives you a more complete picture of what happened between Paul and YahwehShua.  In this end time you are encountering YahwehShua, the resurrected Savior. Remember, in John 12:46, Messiah said:  “I am come a Light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.”

Aren’t you tired of the darkness, confusion and deception of this world? Then, move toward the Light and find YahwehShua. Paul did and found his calling in life. Paul will be in the better resurrection where a 144,000 will stand before Yahweh with the name of the Father and Son on their foreheads.  Revelation 14-1:  “And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his name and his Father’s name written in their foreheads.”

Don’t reject this opportunity. It is not enough to have an intellectual understanding; one must act upon this knowledge. The sooner you take this step, the more time you have for the spirit to grow within you and produce fruit.

Pray to Yahweh for the truth. Contact this website by email and seek further guidance as Paul did from Ananias. May Yahweh bless and guide you in this magnificient journey to the True Light!

Love

Luke 18:8:

Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Messiah Yahshua spoke these words to the disciples while relating a parable.  In the previous chapter, He was addressing events that will occur when He returns to earth.  Since He raises the question, we probably need to learn more about faith and its significance.

Chapter 11 of Hebrews is devoted to the subject of faith.  In verse one, it begins with a definition of faith:  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

The name of YahwehShua is an example of this definition of faith.  The only name for the Messiah that is visible in the scriptures in His prophetic or human name, Yahshua.  You find this name in the book of Zechariah, in Hebrew.   In the Septuagint or Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures you also find the Greek rendering of Yahshua.  The Greek translation for Messiah’s name is the same in the Greek New Testament writings as well.

This prophetic name is easily seen and confirmed in the Hebrew and Greek scriptures.  However, the name of Messiah after His resurrection is found nowhere in the scriptures.  It cannot be seen but the necessity of its existence is deduced through a correct understanding of the law as it relates to the fact that Messiah died in sin.

We call YahwehShua the name of faith.  It is truly “the substance of things hoped for” and also “the evidence of things not seen.”

It is critical that we use the correct name.  In Acts 4:12, we are told:  “Neither is there salvation in any other:  for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”  Our eternal life, our salvation, depends on knowing the right name.  But we can’t see the right name!  It must be revealed and thus provide the foundation of faith.

Where does this faith come from?  Messiah.  When we have hands laid upon us following baptism, the Spirit of Messiah begins to form within us.  Paul reveals this exciting truth in Galatians 4:19:  My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Messiah be formed in you…”  The spirit of Messiah is not given to us fully developed.  It must grow during the time we have remaining prior to our death.

Paul further discusses the importance of the presence of Messiah’s Spirit within us in Romans 8:9:  “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of Elohim dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Messiah, he is none of his.”

Now we desire to have this Spirit of Messiah fully formed by the time of our death because we desire to be in the better resurrection (Hebrews 11:35).  This is why John tells us 1 John 3:2 that “when he shall appear, we shall be like him;”.  Now we know why it is so important to overcome!  We want the fully formed Spirit of Messiah that allows us to be resurrected when Messiah returns and when we will be like Him.

Once we begin the formation of the Spirit of Messiah following the laying on of hands, how do we develop or encourage its formation?  Paul tells us in Galatians 5:6:  “faith which worketh by love.”  Another way to say this is that faith operates in us by love.

Now we understand why Messiah emphasizes love so often in his discourses.  If faith is powered by love and we don’t develop and manifest love, then the Spirit of Messiah will not be able to become fully formed.  We are in danger of quenching the Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19).  Without the Spirit of Messiah, we will not be in the better resurrection and therefore, the Kingdom of Yahweh.

Now that we realize how truly important love is, the 13th chapter of 1 Corinthians becomes even more significant.  This chapter provides helpful insights into what love really means:

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity [love (Strong’s 26, agape], I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity [love], I am nothing.

If after striving to overcome toward the better resurrection, the Spirit of Messiah is quenched, we are nothing.  We have lost the greatest opportunity ever given to men.  Failure is not an option.  We must understand, know, and demonstrate love!  Our Fellowship of YahwehShua understands this and is ready to help those called and chosen to walk toward the better resurrection and practice love!

Again, we turn to 1 Corinthians 13 for a description of what love looks like.  This list is found in verses 4-7:

[Love} Suffereth long, is kind, envieth not, vaunted not itself, not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, rejoiceth not in inquity, rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

We must study these traits of love.  This is a critical part of the map that leads down the narrow road to the better resurrection.

There are many Scriptures that exhort us to love.  It is a valuable study to look in Strong’s Concordance under love, and look up the passages indicated there.  We will look at a few of those now.

John 15:12:  “This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.”  (Once again, we are called to “walk as He walked”.)

2 John 5-6:  “And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.  And, this is love, that we walk after his commandments.  This is the commandment, that, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.”

John 15:17:  “These things I command you, that ye love one another.

John also provides us with this warning in 1 John 2:11:

“But he that hateth (loves less) his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.”

John has a very unique perspective.  He is worth deeper study, because in John 20:2, he is referred to as “the other disciple, who Yahshua loved.”  He had a very close relationship with the Messiah that appears to have been different from the other disciples.  We desire a close relationship with Messiah as well and can learn more about what this means from John.

Paul should not be overlooked, however.  He addresses this important subject as well.  For instance, in Romans 12:10, he says:  “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another.”

Also note what he says in 1 Peter 2:17:  “Honour all men.  Love the brotherhood.  Fear Yahweh.  Honour the king.”  James also addresses this.  I recommend a complete review of all verses mentioning love.  This is a very serious matter that has an impact on your eternal existence and reward.

Participation in the Fellowship of YahwehShua will allow you to learn and practice love.  Much more is to be said and learned.  Come and join us in becoming more loving.

Finances

The fellowship of YahwehShua is not a 501(c) (3) organization.  We are not authorized or approved by the government of any man.  “The head of every man is Messiah.”  (1 Corinthians 11:3)

Financial support for the activities of the fellowship or ekklesia is received only in the form of free will offerings (see Matthew 10:8.

This fellowship does NOT collect tithes.  Tithes are the inheritance of the Levites.  Please see Nehemiah 10:37-38.

The leadership is not paid a salary and receives no income from the members of the fellowship.  Each leader is a servant who is rewarded by Messiah, the head.  Paul did not receive any income from the members of the Body of Messiah, but he did accept free will offerings.  (2 Thessalonians 3:8-10)

Baptism

Since we desire to walk as Messiah walked, we must be baptized.  We baptize by immersion.  We are buried with Yahshua, but raised in the name of life, YahwehShua.

This is a very significant step.  It is the most important decision you will ever make in your life.  It has many ramifications and we take it seriously.  You will not be rushed into baptism, and will be encouraged to be thoughtful and to always be in prayer.

As you review this website, meet with the elder and eventually, the full body of Messiah, more will be explained.  As you consider your decision about moving forward, remember to:

Pray to Yahweh in YahwehShua’s name

Pray for truth
