The Importance of Becoming a Firstfruit or Saint

The apostle John reveals the benefits of becoming a firstfruit before Messiah’s return in Revelation 20:6:

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:  [when Messiah returns as king] on such the second death hath no power, but they [the firstfruits]  shall be priests [of the order of Melchizedek] of Yahweh and of Messiah [from the Hebrew; Christ is from the Greek, meaning anointed] and shall reign with him a thousand years.

What about the rest of mankind?  John reveals this in Revelation 20:5:  “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.”

Yes, all of mankind will be resurrected, however the firstfruits have special benefits as well as special requirements.  Messiah has abolished death (2 Tim. 1:10)  This means that all of mankind that was created will live again.  None remain in death.  The firstfruits will automatically enter the temple located in the new heavens and earth.  (Revelation 21:1-2)  The rest of mankind must first be judged after the thousand years.  Many will enter the kingdom, while those remaining must face the second death and then find life in the new heavens and earth, but not in the kingdom.  These will live outside the kingdom.  (Revelation 21:8, 22:15)

Paul also reveals the status of those who are resurrected when Messiah returns at the end of this age.  He tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:13:  “But every man in his own order:  Messiah, the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah’s at his coming. ”Jude 14 confirms that “ten thousands of his saints,” or fruitfruits, will be coming with Messiah when he returns.

John confirms who these tens of thousands of saints are in Revelation 14:1, 4 (Diaglott):

And I saw, and beheld the Lamb standing on the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand [persons] having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads. These are those who were not defiled with women; for they are [spiritual] virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes.  These were redeemed from men, a Firstfruit to Yahweh and to the Lamb.

I chose the Diaglott as the more exact translation of these verses, based on The Companion Bible’s footnotes which explain that the King James version is inaccurate.

The firstfruits are being judged in this age.  (1 Peter 4:17)  However, we are told in Matthew 20:16 that “many are called, but few are chosen.” The hundred forty-four thousand revealed in Revelation 14:1 represent only those chosen.  While many were called, only a small number are chosen for the better resurrection.  (Hebrews 11:35)

Why do so few qualify to become firstfruits?  Luke provides the answer in Acts 14:22: “We must through much tribulation enter in the kingdom of Yahweh.” This applies to both the firstfruits resurrected when Messiah returns and the multitude who enter the kingdom after their judgement on the last great day or white throne judgment.  (Revelation 7:9; 20:11-12)

How do we become part of those who are called?  (Matthew 20:26)  John quotes Messiah who provides the answer in John 6:44:  “No man can come to me except the Father which hath sent Me draw him:  and I will raise him up at the last day [of this age.]

Messiah is also quoted in John 6:65 confirming what he said in verse 44:  “Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto Me, except it were given unto him of my Father.”  Messiah gave us this insight twice.  This must be very important for us to know!

The invitation or calling comes only from the Father.  We cannot choose to be called, but we can choose to accept the calling or invitation.  Many receive the invitation, but only a few are chosen.  Who does the choosing?  This is the answer Messiah gave to his disciples and I believe is also for all the firstfruits.  We find this in John 15:16:  “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you.”

You can accept or decline the invitation from the Father.  How do you accept His invitation?  Peter provides the answer in Acts 2:38: “Then Peter said unto them, ‘Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of YahwehShua Messiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’”

Once you accept the invitation from the Father and are baptized according to Peter, there is still another step before being resurrected when Messiah returns.  That step is overcoming.  Please refer to Revelation, chapters 2 and 3 where Messiah himself provides more insight into overcoming.  You should also refer to a concordance and find additional scriptures under overcame and overcometh.

Once we have the down payment or earnest of Messiah’s Spirit, we can begin to overcome. What is required during our efforts to overcome? Paul helps us with this in Romans 5: 3- 5:

“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience: And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of Yahweh is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.”  Note that Paul begins the process with tribulation. Luke adds to this understanding in Acts 14: 22: “We must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of Yahweh.”  We must embrace the growth opportunity that comes with tribulation and not just avoid it!

Tribulation allows us to develop patience, experience, and hope. Hope is very important as revealed in Romans 8: 24:  “For we saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”  Consider these verses along with Hebrews 11: 1:  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

The firstfruits have a hope which is not seen. Nowhere in the Scriptures do you see the name of YahwehShua. You are, however, able to see Messiah’s human or name given at birth, Yahshua., which was a very common name.  However, in Hebrews 1:4, we are informed that Messiah received a “more excellent” name. Psalm 148: 13 tells that the more excellent name is Yahweh, an exalted and higher name than the angels. (Psalm 8:5, Hebrews 2: 7, 9)

Why did He need a new name? Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the law. (Galatians 3: 13)  What was that curse? The answer is found in Deuteronomy 29: 20: “Yahweh shall blot out his name from under heaven.”  His human name was blotted out since only he was able to die in sin.  The name of Yahshua, was attached to his blood, which was defiled with all the sin of mankind. That blood was poured into the ground and not resurrected.

Your invitation can come suddenly as it did for Paul on the road to Damascus. (Acts chapter 9) Messiah revealed himself by speaking in Hebrew (Acts 26: 14) and using his resurrected name, YahwehShua, the name of both himself and his Father. (Revelation 14: 1, Diaglott) Paul was a faithful and obedient Pharisee. He was steeped in the hypocrisy and traditions of the Pharisees. (Mark 7: 7- 9) Messiah had confronted the Pharisees concerning their beliefs and traditions. (Matthew 15: 3- 9)

Just as Paul was misled by the Pharisees, you have been misled by the religions of the world. But you may have received the same invitation given to Paul. It is difficult to be plucked from the comfort of your beliefs. It was difficult for Paul as well. He had persecuted the saints and many died because of his efforts. Paul believed in what he was doing and expected to be rewarded.  Messiah had to use a dramatic intervention to get Paul’s attention. (Acts 9: 1- 18; 26: 4- 19)

Following this dramatic event, Paul was baptized and then separated himself for teaching by Messiah. (Galatians 1: 16- 18) He was personally taught by Messiah and not by another human being. He was chosen for a special mission and received the appropriate preparation. Should we accept our invitation, we too will ask for guidance in our walk with Messiah. This is available through tribulation, patience, experience and hope.

Only the Father can call someone. Messiah performed this intervention on Paul himself, but only by doing the will of the Father. Those called have been selected from the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1: 4)  Your selection was like that of Paul, and not a random, impulsive decision by the Father. The Father has a plan of the ages. (Ephesians 3: 11) Perhaps you are part of his plan? Only by accepting His invitation will you be able to discover whether or not this is true.  Baptism in the name of YahwehShua is the first door through which you must enter. (John 10: 7- 9)

Peter required baptism by immersion and is also a requirement of the new covenant.  (Matt. 26:28, 2 Cor. 3:6)  Baptism is circumcision without hands.  (Col. 2:11) Circumcision was a requirement of the old covenant, but firstfruits are now under the new covenant.  The old covenant entered into on Mt. Sinai has been terminated.  That was a marriage covenant in which Israel became the wife of the Son of Yahweh.  (Jer. 31:32) Firstfruits must embrace the new covenant, which includes the Doctrine of Messiah as revealed in Hebrews 6: 1-2 and separate themselves from the old covenant.

There is also a stumbling block in Acts 2:38.  Almost all translations use the name Jesus Christ in regard to baptism.  Others may use Yeshua, Yehoshua, or Yahshua.  These names are all incorrect—why?  They are all using a man’s name or the birth name of Messiah.  You must do a study of the Hebrew name, Joshua, (Yod, hey, waw, sheen, waw, ayin) and the Greek name found in the Septuagint and Greek New Testament, IHSOU. (iota, heta, sigma, omicron, upsilon)

Even though Yahshua is the correct birth name revealed to Mary by an angel, it is not the name for baptism.  Yes, he died with the birth name, but was not resurrected with that name.  This is a very significant understanding to have. The revealing of the resurrected name of Messiah is part of the invitation or calling.  It is not found in any bible translation.  This revelation to you is a definite indication of your calling.  Should you choose to accept your calling, baptism in YahwehShua confirms your having been chosen.

John gives us more insight into Messiah’s expectations for us.  Consider what we are told in 1 John 3:23-24: And this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his son YahwehShua Messiah and love one another, as he gave us commandment.  And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him.  And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Yes, when we are baptized in the name of YahwehShua, we actually receive the down payment of his spirit.  The Holy Spirit of the Father gives us the down payment (or earnest) at the time we receive the free gift of the Father’s Spirit.  (2 Cor 1:22)

We are actually born again in the resurrection when Messiah returns.  (John 3:3)  Paul confirms this in Galatians 4:19:  “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Messiah be formed in you.”

The indwelling Spirit of Messiah is like a spiritual fetus (or foetus) that is developed during your earthly life and then is fully formed in the resurrection.  John adds to our understanding in 1 John 3:2:  “Beloved, now [after baptism in YahwehShua] are we the sons of Yahweh and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that when we shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

Amazing!  When we are born again at his coming “we shall be like him.” We will no longer be flesh, but be composed of the same spiritual substance as he!  We will no longer face death and will always be with him—wherever he goes, we go.

To have this opportunity for this rebirth, we must be baptized in the name of the resurrected Messiah.  The name of a man does not work.  Why?  Messiah’s name identifies the blood he shed for our sins.  He died in sin (2 Cor 5:21), not for any sins of his own. The sin he did have was not his own. He could not repent since the sin was not his. Without the ability to repent he could not resurrect himself. His father gave him life. His blood was not resurrected. His blood remained in the ground, while only his flesh and bones went into the tomb.  After his death, a Roman’s spear pierced his side and his blood went into the ground.  He was not resurrected with his blood.  The blood is identified by his birth name, Yahshua. His blood remains in the ground and will be totally destroyed when the material world is transformed into the new heavens and earth.

We cannot be saved by a name defiled by sin.  It is now the name of death.  Only the resurrected name is the name of life.  Consider what Paul tells us in Romans 5:10:  “For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to Yahweh, by the death of His Son [Yahshua], much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”  We were reconciled by the blood of Yahshua but achieve resurrection by the name of life, YahwehShua.  YahwehShua is not found in the Scriptures, but there are signposts that lead to having that name revealed.  Paul tells us “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”  (2 Cor 5:7)  The birth name of Messiah can be seen in the Scriptures, however, the name of faith, YahwehShua, cannot be seen.  Paul teaches about this in Hebrews 11:1:  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

When we choose baptism in YahwehShua, it is a leap of faith.  That is why Paul says we walk by faith and not by sight.  It is only by revelation from the Father that we are able to see the unseeable and choose baptism in YahwehShua, and not his defiled birth name.

Understanding the significance of the defilement of the birth name is critical.  The first important verse to be aware of is found in Deuteronomy 29:20: “Yahweh will not spare him, but then the anger of Yahweh and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and Yahweh shall blot out  his name from under heaven.”  The only human to die in sin was Messiah, so only his name was blotted out.  It was the law and he died under the law.  (Gal. 4:4)

The knowledge that a name can be blotted out leads us to a very mysterious revelation in Hebrews 1:4:  “Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”

Messiah had to have a new name.  In death, his human birth name was blotted out.  Since his blood was defiled, he could not stand before his Father with this defilement. He therefore received a “more excellent name.” Psalms 148:13 provides this further insight:  “Let them praise the name of Yahweh:  for his name alone is excellent.”

Messiah through death and defilement of his human name, inherited a more excellent name, YahwehShua, or Yahweh Saviour!  This is very important knowledge for you to become a first-fruit.

The best scholarship available for the grammatical understanding for the correct birth name and derivation of the name of YahwehShua is found on the website, kahalyahweh.net.  This site is the work of George Gabler.  He has a great understanding of the Hebrew and Greek languages related to the birth name and the resurrected name of Yahweh.  He first introduced me to YahwehShua and I have learned much from his scholarship.

I recommend his website for a deeper understanding of the names of Messiah.  However, he and I have some disagreements which resulted in our parting ways.  This is very similar to the situation between Paul and Barnabas.  (Acts 15:39)  I love and respect George Gabler despite our scriptural disagreements. One such difference is the serving of leavened bread on Passover night when we remember Messiah.  There are others which are referred to in other articles.  For example, we follow the Doctrine of Messiah as revealed in Hebrews 6: 1-2.  When you compare this to Leviticus 23, you will notice that Day of Coverings (atonement) and the Feast of Tabernacles are no longer required for firstfruits.

Despite our differences, we both are in full agreement on the names.  I respect him and love him as a brother in the faith.  I highly recommend his teachings regarding the names.  In my opinion, his most significant article is “The Name of Inheritance” (available on our website, dated 1/31/20).

Regarding the importance of leavened bread, instead of unleavened bread on Passover night, (the 14th of Abib), I recommend another excellent source, The Messianic Feast, by T. Alex Tennent.  I do not agree with everything he teaches, but on the subject of leavened bread we are in complete agreement.  He does recognize the name of Yahweh for the Father, but does not use the correct birth name for the Son and does not refer to the resurrected name at all.

As you read and study, do so only after praying to Yahweh.  Pray that he will guide you into His truth.  However, it is only after baptism in YahwehShua that you will be led to a more complete understanding of Yahweh’s truth. MESSIAH’S LAST SUPPER WITH HIS DISCIPLES WAS NOT THE PASSOVER MEAL

MESSIAH’S LAST SUPPER WITH HIS DISCIPLES WAS NOT THE PASSOVER MEAL, NOR WAS IT DURING THE DAYS OF UNLEAVENED BREAD

This article may be challenging for many. There are different perspectives based on poor translations and tradition. But this information is important. The best time to get the most out of this article is to be “in YahwehShua”. This means you have been baptized in the resurrected name of our Saviour and King. This is the name of life. His human name, Yahshua, was defiled by our sin attached to his blood. That is now the name of death. It is worthless for baptism. Once baptized in YahwehShua, you will receive the down payment of His Spirit and your understanding will gradually improve. This was my experience.

The Messiah died at 3 pm on the day portion of the 14th of Abib. This was before sundown when the 15th became the High Sabbath of the first Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. According to the Babylonian Talmud (Book 3, tract pesachim), the Jewish tradition was to burn all leaven by the 11th hour (between 11 am and noon). The Scriptures are quite clear that we eat unleavened bread only for seven days. (Leviticus 23: 4- 7; Numbers 28: 16- 17). The Jews were very exact in avoiding defilement.

One of Messiah’s disciples, Joseph of Arimathea, wishing to avoid defiling the first High Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread obtained permission to bury Yahshua before sundown. Messiah’s bones and flesh went into the tomb, while His blood was poured into the ground when he was speared by a Roman soldier. He would be in that tomb from just before sunset on the 14th for a full three nights and 3 days, or 72 hours, according to the sign of Jonah. He was resurrected 3 days later just before the end of Sabbath.

The Jews’ Passover began the night after His death. He died when the priests and Levites were

killing the lambs for the Passover sacrifice. The night before, when He ate His last meal with His disciples, was NOT the time for the Passover meal, nor was leaven removed. The leaven, by tradition, was burned the morning of the 14th. On the night of His meal with His disciples, He was not constrained to use only unleavened bread. The Greek says artosonly, leavened bread.

He gave His disciples leavened bread because this was the bread of the firstfruits. (Leviticus 23: 17). This was the same bread offered on Pentecost. Messiah was the firstfruit (1 Corinthians 15: 20- 23). Those in YahwehShua become firstfruits through His indwelling Spirit. (James 1: 18)

Why is this important to understand correctly? Because on the night when He washed the disciples’ feet, gave themartos and unfermented fruit of the vine (grape juice), He gave them (and us) a commandment:   “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.” (my emphasis) (Luke 22: 19)

This commandment was so important that Paul, who was not present for that meal, was instructed by Messiah YahwehShua about this commandment. Paul quoted Messiah’s commandment not just once, but twice in first Corinthians 11: 24- 25.

In addition to that commandment from Messiah, Paul tells us we are to “keep the feast”.

This can be read in first Corinthians 5: 8. He is referring to the seven days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Those in YahwehShua must obey Messiah’s commandment to remember Him on the night of Abib 14, but also keep the next seven days of Unleavened Bread. Being faithful in observing these days properly is part of overcoming. John quotes Messiah several times in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 concerning the importance of overcoming.

Overcoming is important. If the indwelling Spirit of Messiah has matured at the time of your death, you will be in the better resurrection when Messiah returns. (Hebrews 12: 35)  You must first be baptized in the name of YahwehShua to receive the down payment of His Spirit. Without His Spirit, you are none of His. (Romans 8:9)

I wish to recommend some tools for your study. I prefer the King James Bible because there is a Strong’s Concordance keyed to every word in that version. No translation is accurate. That is why you must look at the Hebrew or Greek words being translated. For example, in the KJV, Yahweh’s name is translated as LORD. Totally wrong. There are many other significant examples. We must study to be approved. (2 Timothy 2: 15)

Another suggestion is a copy of Bullinger’s Companion Bible. However, you must refer to it carefully because it too has its errors.

For this article, my most urgent suggestion is a copy of THE MESSIANIC FEAST, written by

T. Alex Tennent. He does a superb job proving that the night of the 14th was not the Jews’ Passover meal nor was it during the Days of Unleavened Bread. You must read it carefully. He

does not use Yahweh or Yahshua. He believes Messiah died on the Thursday with a resurrection

on Sunday. Messiah died according to our calendar on April 25, 31 CE. That date requires His death to be on a Wednesday, the mid part of the week. This is consistent with Daniel’s prophecy in Daniel 9: 27 which says “in the midst of the week”.

To get the most out this article, you must obtain a copy of The Messianic Feast. It is available on Amazon. Mr. Tennent also refers to Daniel Wallace’s, Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics and

the Westcott and Hort’s, Kingdom Interlinear translation.  Mr. Tennent shows how poor translations of Matthew 26: 17 and Mark 14: 12 have created confusion and misunderstanding.

See page 407 in The Messianic Feast for his explanation.

The translators of the Greek did not know Greek as well as they did the Hebrew. The Hebrew does not use the definite article, while the Greek relies on it. Mr. Tennent really explains this well. He has a chapter titled, 50 Reasons the Last Supper was Not the Passover. This is an important book to study!

Now, onto your study.  Read the articles on our website. Pray to YAHWEH for His truth. He may be calling you! See John 6: 44.

Consider Matthew 7: 7 as you study:

“Ask and it shall be given you;

  Seek, and ye shall find;

Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

YOM GADOL: The Last Great Day, Good News for ALL Mankind

We have just completed the observance of Yom Teruah, September 29-30. The observance of Yom Gadol is October 20-21, 2019, sunset to sunset. Yom Teruah is looking forward to the return of Messiah for his 1000-year reign. This is also the same time when the 144,000 firstfruits are resurrected in their spiritual bodies and no longer face death. This is a time for spiritual resurrection. The physical resurrection for the rest of mankind is during Yom Gadol, the Last Great Day.

Notice what Revelation 20: 4 tells us:

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: [the firstfruits] and I saw souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of YahwehShua, and for the word of Yahweh and which did not worship the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands and they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years.

This is all about the firstfruits. They represent only 144,000 people. Where is the rest of mankind?  Let’s look at Revelation 20: 5 for our answer:  “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.”  This is the time of physical resurrection for the rest of mankind. You will find this described in

Ezekiel 37. Here you will find bones and flesh coming together. They are given the breath of life.  In verse 12, Yahweh tells us: “I will open your graves, and cause you to come out of your graves.”These people were asleep in death and had no consciousness while in death.  The firstfruits are already alive. This physical resurrection occurs after the 1,000 years.

Many of those contacting the Light of YahwehShua have an interest in being called to become a firstfruit. However, when most realize that their family and friends have not received the calling and do not share their interest they do not wish to go against their family and friends. They do not want to leave their loved ones behind.

In fact, ALL mankind will have an opportunity to know the truth!  Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:23: “every man in his own order.”  The firstfruits of this present age are being judged NOW. Peter confirms this in 1 Peter 4: 17:  “Judgment must begin at the house of Yahweh.” All the rest of mankind will be judged during the Last Great Day. (Revelation 20:5) No human being is left behind! All will be resurrected. The firstfruits to a spiritual body and the rest of mankind in physical bodies.  There are only two resurrections for ALL of mankind. No one is left in death!

The rest of mankind will have the Spirit of Yahweh poured out upon them after their resurrection. No repentance is required. It is freely given. The prophet Joel reveals this in Joel 2: 28:  “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:”

The rest of mankind will have a different experience than that of the firstfruits.  Peter provides the guidance for the firstfruits in Acts 2: 38:  “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of YahwehShua Messiah, for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Firstfruits must “repent and be baptized.” Joel does not indicate this requirement for the rest of mankind. The firstfruits are only those called by the Father during this present age. There are different requirements, but a better reward. They will be in the better resurrection, (Hebrews 11: 35) will not face the second death, (Revelation 20: 6) and they shall be priests and kings of Yahweh and of Messiah. (Revelation 20: 6) But remember there are benefits for the rest of mankind as well. Those who repent and overcome during their 100 years (Isaiah 65: 20) will not face the second death and will be eligible to be in the Kingdom which comes down to earth in the new heavens and earth.

Those who do not repent during their 100 years will be cast into the lake of fire, but they will not remain there.  They will be delivered from this death and live on earth when the new heavens and earth are formed. However, they will not be permitted in the Kingdom. They must reside outside the walls. We find this described in Revelation 21:8:  “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, And sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.’  Revelation 22: 15 tells us they are living “without” the Kingdom. They are alive. No human is left in death.

All humans, whether in the Kingdom or without will enjoy what is revealed in Revelation 21: 4:  “And Yahweh shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

This wonderful existence is available to all mankind. None are left in death. The firstfruits and the great multitude (Revelation 7: 9) will be IN the Kingdom. Outside the walls of the Kingdom are those who went through the lake of fire.

All mankind in the new heavens and earth will have no memory of their human life. The prophet Isaiah confirms this in Isaiah 65: 17:  “For, behold I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”  Those in the new heavens and earth will have no regrets, bad memories, or painful thoughts.  We will all live in the moment, without past or future.  Now, that is true mercy from Yahweh.  Peter tells us in 2 Peter 3: 13 that there will only be righteousness in the new heavens and earth. Our destiny in the new heavens and earth is truly blissful.  ALL mankind will have this opportunity, each in his own order.

During this present age the whole world is under the domination of Satan. This is confirmed in Revelation 12:9:  “And the great dragon was cast out. That old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: “

Our heavenly Father is calling certain people during this age to have an understanding of His truth. The Father allows these people the opportunity to have truth beyond the deception of Satan. He is not calling the whole world at this time. Messiah tells us in John 6:44 that ONLY the Father does the calling during this age:  “No man can come to me, except the Father which has sent me draw him: and I will raise him at the last day.”

We cannot request His calling, but we can accept it when offered. He may only call one from a family or sometimes more. We must consider our individual calling and focus on that. It is not for us to question Father Yahweh about those He does or does not choose. Without the Spirit of Messiah, we are limited by our carnal mind. Once baptized in YahwehShua, we have a better connection through YahwehShua to the Father. We must take advantage of His invitation to us

individually. After baptism, we can pray for others to be called. In the end it is all about trusting Yahweh’s will and not our own.

If we do not act on the Father’s invitation, we lose the opportunity to be in the better resurrection and perhaps not even being in the Kingdom. If you accept His invitation, perhaps your example may encourage someone else to follow your lead.

Messiah was very clear about the division caused when following him. Messiah told us this in Luke 12: 51-53:

“Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division.  For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.  The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.”

Being called by the Father into the new covenant is not easy.  Consider what Paul tells us in Philippians 4:13:  “I can do all things through Messiah which strengtheneth me.” Once you have the Spirit of Messiah being formed within you (Galatians 4: 19) it is no longer you alone. John also encourages us in 1 John 2:1: “We have an advocate with the Father, YahwehShua Messiah the righteous.”

If after reviewing our website, studying, and praying, you believe you are being called, do not become discouraged. Baptism in YahwehShua is your only hope to be with Messiah when he returns. It is a very important first step. With the Spirit of Messiah, your mind will be opened to more truth. As the truth deepens, you will know more, have more hope and have a greater ability to overcome. You will have access to other believers. You will then be part of the body of Messiah. The body is formed to love, support and exhort each other. The body of Messiah is a valuable and necessary resource. Your success in overcoming is greatly enhanced by your active fellowship with the body of Messiah.

Now, let me address the massive deception we find in the world. The world has lied to you.  Religions tell you that all who died are either in heaven, hell or are conscious spirits alive in a spiritual netherworld. Many will say we have an immortal soul.  None of this is true! Ecclesiastes 9:5 reveals Yahweh’s truth about being in death:  “But the dead know not any thing.”

The dead have no consciousness. They will not regain their conscious awareness until their resurrection. The firstfruits will be resurrected in spiritual bodies. The rest of mankind will be resurrected in physical bodies. All will have spiritual bodies in the new heavens and earth.

We are told in Joel 2:28 that the Spirit of Yahweh is poured out upon those physical humans on the Last Great Day:

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”

This is not our age, or during the 1,000 years. This verse relates to the Last Great Day. No baptism or repentance is required to receive the Spirit of Yahweh. All of your loved ones will have this opportunity. Trust Yahweh with your calling and He will also take care of your loved ones and the rest of mankind.

DEATH AND THEN WHAT?

ED: This article was originally posted in 7/16, but became unavailable on the website. This is a re-posting.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

Hebrews 9: 27

When attending funerals, I have often heard many of the presiding religionists say this:  “he is up there and now, watching over us.”  Really, where is “up there’’?  Is this what the Bible teaches?

Most people I am familiar with believe that when someone dies, they go to heaven or hell. A few, in my experience, believe there is no afterlife. Usually those who believe in afterlife are optimistic that their loved ones go to heaven. Many others who believe in the afterlife will assign a bad person to hell.

Here are some verses from the Bible that provide a biblical insight into death:

Ecclesiastes 9:5

“For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing,”

Ecclesiastes 9:10

“There is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, wither thou goest.”

Psalm 146:4

“His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.”

Scripture seems to indicate that after death there are NO thoughts of any kind. In fact, death is referred to as sleep. In Psalm 13:3, King David speaks of death as, “the sleep of death.”  Messiah spoke of death as sleep as well. In Matthew 9:24 he described what others thought was death was sleep. Again, Messiah referred to the death of his friend Lazarus as sleep. (John 11: 11)  In at least 36 verses in the Old Testament a dead man is said to have “slept with his fathers.”

The Bible does not indicate any activity or thoughts in death. We see nothing, and we know nothing.  Is this the end of us?

In the Old Testament, the prophet Daniel proclaims that, “many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake.” (Daniel 12: 2)  We also discover in Ezekiel 37 that dead bodies are given life again.

The Old Testament does not give us much information about life after death. However, the New Testament gives us much more information by introducing the concept of resurrection.

Messiah informs us in John 3:13: ”no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”  Only he has been in heaven. The rest of mankind lives and then sleeps. When they wake up, that is, resurrected, they find themselves here on earth!

It is the Apostle Paul who really clarifies this process of resurrection or waking up from death.  We find this insight in first Corinthians 15: 20-23: “But now is Messiah risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah all shall be made alive. But every man in his own order: Messiah the first fruits, afterwards they that are Messiah’s at his coming.”

Paul tells us that Messiah was the first to be resurrected. Then he indicates a second resurrection, which will occur when he returns. This will be for those who are considered HIS.

Those that are resurrected when Messiah returns are called saints. (Jude 1: 14, Zechariah 14: 5, Psalm 50: 5-6)  We can learn even more about the saints in Revelation 14:1-5.  We are told there are 144,000 saints and they are also called firstfruits.

Is this all that will be resurrected?  Paul answers this for us in First Corinthians 15:22 when he said, “shall all be made alive.”  Billions are to be resurrected, not just the 144,000.

This is confirmed in Revelation 20:5 where we are told that: “the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.”   John is telling us that ALL mankind is to be resurrected.  Not one human being is lost. However, those in the resurrection following the 1,000 years will find themselves in a physical resurrection.  The 144,000 saints are resurrected as spirit beings upon whom the second death has no power. (Rev. 20: 5 )

So what is different about the resurrection of all mankind after the 1,000 years?  It is a resurrection to physical life. This is what we find described in Ezekiel 37. More is revealed about what happens after this resurrection in the book of Joel 2:28-32.   It is revealed in this Old Testament passage that Yahweh will give his spirit to all flesh at that time. All mankind will still have to face the second death and be transformed into spirit beings in the new heaven and new earth. Those who do not repent will go into the lake of fire.  These will then be resurrected into the new heaven and new earth as spiritual beings.

It is important to state at this time what Paul tells us in Hebrews 11:35  -- that the 144,000 are in the “better resurrection”.  Why is this better?  It is a resurrection to spirit life without any further requirement of death.  The saints will be with Messiah, are considered HIS and will have an advanced understanding and status when the rest of all mankind are resurrected after the 1,000 years.

It is a great revelation that death is destroyed (1Cor. 15: 26).  How is this done?  All those who died are restored to life. “Death is swallowed up in victory.” (1Cor. 15: 54)

Mankind does NOT go to heaven. Mankind remains on earth but as spiritual beings. Yahweh comes to us.  He brings his throne to a new earth. New Jerusalem descends from Heaven. Here you will find the Father, his Son, the saints and others who are selected to be around his throne. Outside of new Jerusalem will be many other spirit beings. The new earth shall be divided with nations and kings. (Rev. 21: 24) Outside New Jerusalem will be those who did not repent and had to suffer the second death. (Rev. 21: 8, 22: 15)

The good news is that there is no eternal torture and all mankind will be resurrected as spirit beings, eventually.  The question you may be asking is how do I qualify for the better resurrection?

Our website tells you about the importance of baptism in the name of YahwehShua.  Please consider what the apostle Peter told us in Acts 2:38: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of YahwehShua the Messiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Your King James Bible says “jesus” but this is a lie.  Why, you may say.  Because it is revealed in Joel 2: 32 that:  “Whosoever shall call on the name of Yahweh shall be delivered.” Again your King James Version of the Bible says LORD, which also is a lie.  The Hebrew language from which this English translation is taken says, yod, hey, waw, hey or Yahweh!  This understanding is very critical to your understanding of the significance of the name of Yahweh in baptism.  Please study the information you find on our website very carefully. Here you will find the truth, instead of lies or deceptions.

Without baptism in YahwehShua, you’ll not receive the down payment of Spirit that is promised.  Without the Spirit of Messiah being formed within you (Galatians 4: 19) the path to the better resurrection is not open to you!

Only 144,000 are resurrected when Messiah returns. This proves the truth of the scripture that says, “Many are called, few are chosen.” (Mat. 22: 14)

The Messiah said,” I am the door.” (John 10: 7, 9)  It is only through HIM that you can enter the better resurrection and therefore enter New Jerusalem. New Jerusalem has 12 gates or doors. You must have the name of the Father and the Son on your forehead prior to your entry.  (Rev. 14: 1)

Those who have access to a Bible owe this opportunity to the work of the Apostle Paul. Paul was led by a vision to go to the Macedonian city of Philippi. Philippi was located on the edge of Europe. The baptisms Paul performed there led to the formation of an assembly or ekklesia which eventually funneled the word of Yahweh into Europe and then onto America.

Today, the work of YahwehShua is available in the United States with brethren scattered among different states. The knowledge of the work of YahwehShua was brought to Embu, Kenya, which is now the gateway to Africa. The spread of the message of YahwehShua has just begun in this end time.

YahwehShua (the inherited name of Messiah, Hebrews 1: 4) is the door through which you must go to even strive for the better resurrection. Being in this resurrection when Messiah returns will position you to enter New Jerusalem when the new heaven and new earth are created. (Rev. 21: 1)

All mankind will be resurrected and live on the same spirit level with Yahweh. This is the promise. There is also a reward. (Rev. 22: 12; Matt. 16: 27)  Is this for you?  Pray for truth to Yahweh and find out if he will lead you to all truth. Remember, what we are told in John 6:44: “no man can come to me except the Father which hath sent me draw him:” Unless you ask, seek, and knock you may never know! (Luke 11: 9-10)

Can You Become One of "MY PEOPLE"?

Revelation 18:4

Come out of her, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her sins,

and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Romans 9:25

as he saith also in O’sea,[Hosea],  I will call them MY PEOPLE,  which were not my people;  and her beloved, which was not beloved.

Hosea 2:23

and I will sowher unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy;  and I will say to them which were not

MY PEOPLE, thou art MY PEOPLE; and they shall say, Thou art my Elohim.

Leviticus 26:12

And I will walk among you, and will be your Elohim, and ye shall be MY PEOPLE.

Second Corinthians 6:16-17

And what agreement hath the Temple of Elohim with idols?  For ye are the temple of the living Elohim; as Yahweh hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; I will be their Elohim, and they shall be MY PEOPLE.

The above verses share one concept in common and that is, MY PEOPLE.  In fact this phrase relates to two different groups. One is the Old Covenant Israel who Yahweh married at Mount Sinai. This was physical Israel.

Now remember that the Yahweh of the Old Covenant was in fact, Messiah. (1 Cor. 10: 4)  Israel’s husband became incarnate and walked the earth as Messiah Yahshua.  That marriage ended with the death of Messiah on the tree. Death is termination of the covenant between man and wife. (Romans 7: 2)

Yahweh called physical Israel of the Old Covenant, “MY PEOPLE”. However, after Messiah’s death, they were no longer in a marriage covenant as “MY PEOPLE.”  However, even though physical Israel failed in that marriage covenant by committing adultery, Yahweh is still loving toward his ex-wife. In the millennium, he will return and bring a remnant of physical Israel out of the world. This remnant will enjoy the promised land for 1000 years. He keeps his promise even though Israel did not.

The New Covenant is a marriage covenant as well. But this is a covenant between Yahweh and spiritual Israel. Spiritual Israel began at Pentecost. (Acts 2)  Since Pentecost, those who are baptized in YahwehShua have been called and chosen to be a Saint or member of the body of Messiah and are in fact being espoused to Messiah. (2 Cor. 11: 2)

Many are called but few are chosen for this opportunity. (Matt. 20: 16)  How many are able to overcome to the end and be firstfruits in the better resurrection? According to Revelation 14:1, only 144,000. The parable of the 10 virgins that we find in Matthew 25 indicates that the failure rate is 50%. The parable of the sower indicates it could be as much as 75%. Revelation 3:12 is clear; you must overcome to be qualified.

The foregoing discussion is based on the concept of “PATTERN”, which is first revealed in the book of Exodus. Moses was given a pattern for the construction of the Tabernacle which was based on a spiritual reality. David was given a pattern for the temple which he relayed to his son Solomon. There is a spiritual reality and a physical manifestation of that reality.

You are aware that there is a physical Jerusalem, but in Revelation it is revealed that there is also a heavenly Jerusalem, New Jerusalem, which will eventually descend to a new earth. (Revelation 3:12; 21:2)

New Jerusalem has 12 gates. Each gate is named for a tribe of Israel. These names are not of physical Israel but spiritual Israel. We are told in 1 Corinthians 15:50 that flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of Elohim. Therefore these gates can only be for spiritual Israel.

Since Pentecost, when the comforter was sent from heaven, those called and chosen were baptized in water and Spirit. (John 3: 5)  The laying on of hands initiated the forming of the spirit of Messiah in the person being baptized.  We are grafted into spiritual Israel through His spirit being formed within us.  When we overcome and are resurrected, we are of spiritual Israel. We therefore can gain entrance into New Jerusalem through one of these gates.

In Revelation 18:4, John heard a voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, MY PEOPLE.”   This voice was referring to those of this age who were called, chosen and baptized in Spirit and water.

However, the most critical aspect of being baptized is in what name?  Peter revealed that name to us in Acts 2:38 when he said, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you and name of YahwehShua Messiah”.  Just any name is not acceptable. It must be Messiah’s name and only that name which he had at the time Peter spoke. This would be his resurrected, inherited name (Hebrews 1: 4) and not his human name, Yahshua.  His inherited name includes the full name of his Father, Yahweh.

Is the full name of YahwehShua necessary?  The name that we are baptized in must include the Father’s name as well as the Son’s name.  This is confirmed in Revelation 14:1. Here we are told that the 144,000 have the name of the Father and the Son’s name in their foreheads.  If you desire to be in the better resurrection, this is the name you must have.

The voice from heaven told John that we must, “Come out”.  We must leave behind the lies, myths and false beliefs that Satan has used to deceive the world. What would these be?  Here is just a selection, but there are more.

1       Hell

2       The trinity

3       That the Royal Law is no longer required

4       Immortal soul

5       Messiah was impaled on a cross

6       Messiah was in the grave from Friday to Sunday

7       Messiah was born on December 25

8       The Sabbath was changed from the seventh day to the first day of the week

9       Our Creator’s name is L-D or G-d

10   Messiah’s human name is Jesus

These 10 deceptions are only a limited selection. To move beyond these lies you must be open to the truth. You can begin by praying to Yahweh for his truth and then continue by studying this website, studying the Scriptures and seeking guidance from the leadership of the Light of YahwehShua.

Paul tells us in Romans 8:7: “because the carnal mind is enmity against Elohim: for it is not subject to the law of Yahweh, neither indeed can be.”  Prior to baptism, we are exclusively carnal creatures unable to connect with Yahweh. Unless Yahweh calls us and opens our minds, we cannot know him. (John 6: 44)  If you desire to be one of HIS PEOPLE then you must pray to Yahweh for his truth and diligently seek him. If he leads you, you will seek baptism through the Light of YahwehShua.

The good news is that if you are not being called now, you will have a chance to be called in the general resurrection that occurs after the thousand years. This will be the resurrection when all mankind who has ever lived will be resurrected and given the spirit.

What a loving Creator!  Not one human being will remain dead. All will live again.  Many of those in the general resurrection will enter the kingdom. There is no hell or eternal torture.  Yahweh cannot fail. Yahweh is love!

There is so much more to learn. Pray to Yahweh. Have your mind opened to the truth. Be baptized in the name of YahwehShua and begin the greatest journey in this age.
